net_halです。
SHARP のノート PC-MV1-C1W でカーネルを 2.4.20-0vl24.2 にアップしたら
突然電源が落ちようになりました。
起動そのものは正常に起動したのですが、alsa の rpm をリビルドしようと
したらビルド途中に突然電源が落ちます。
VinePlus の alsa-driver-0.5.12a-0vl0.1.src.rpm で発生しました。
同じものを使って友人は正常にリビルドできましたので、このノートマシン特有
の問題だと思います。
ヒヤヒヤしながら3回試しましたが全て電源が落ちます。
ビルドしないでエディタでファイルを見たりしているだけでは落ちない様です。
HDDアクセス中に電源が落ちてしまうので怖くて色々な設定を試すことが出来ま
せんので、ご報告だけです。
仕事にも使っているマシンなので壊れると困るので、2.4.19-0vl26 に戻しました。
(ACPI、PCI等のオプションをカーネルに渡せばOKかも知れないですが)

以下に、/var/log/messages の起動部分のみの比較を添付します。
/var/log/messages の時刻等を削除し、ソートしたものを比較しています。
ファイル m2.4.19 が 2.4.19-0vl26 で起動したときのメッセージ
ファイル m2.4.20 が 2.4.20-0vl24.2 で起動したときのメッセージです。
