update.vinelinux.org の名前解決ができないようですね。

ネットワークは問題ないですか？
リゾルバ（/etc/resolv.conf）の設定は問題ないですか？
他のサイトは問題ないですか？

 $ host updates.vinelinux.org

を実行すると、IP アドレスが返ってきますか？

今、当方の Vine-3.2 マシンで apt-get update を実行してみましたが、
問題なかったです。

# firefox、samba 関連がアップデートされました。

確認してみて下さい。
