↑を行いましたところ、うまくいきました。現在は;

1st PCI IRQ 11
2nd PCI IRQ 11
3rd PCI IRQ 11
4th PCI IRQ 10

になっています。/var/log/messagesには(スマートメディアアダプタを挿すと)

となります。floppyを探しているところはよくわかりませんが、それ以外はOKの
ようです。
