早速、ダウンロードしました。
インストールを実行すると、

# /usr/lib/powerchute/Config.sh
	.....

/dev/ttyS0 verified as a valid tty

となって、シリアルポートが正常に動作してないようです。
現在、APCに問い合わせ中です。
