Linux超初心者ですがよろしくお願いします。
VineLinuxをインストールしましたが、cardmgrがうまく起動できません。
OS VineLinux2.6r1
PC Toshiba satellite 110CS
ちなみに、PCカードスロットには何も入れずに起動しています。
スロットにカードを入れて起動しても結果は変わらず、
起動後にカードを抜き差ししても何も変化はありませんでした。
/etc/rc3.d/S45pcmcia restart を実行すると、

と出力され、一度は正しく認識されていたようですが、結局だめなようです。
同じ型の別のノートPCのWindows98でioportやIRQを調べたところ
ioport 0x03e0-0x3e1
IRQ 未使用
のようです。
Linuxの設定は何も変更していません。
Linux自体はPCカードのCD-ROMからインストールしましたので、
何とかすれば使用できるものと思っています。
どなたかどうすれば認識するかわかりませんでしょうか。
