初めて質問させていただきます。hollyfrogと申します。

Vine3.2 FTP版を、中古で購入したNEC VersaPro VA70J/Vにクリーンインストール
しました。インストールは何の問題も発生せず、普通に終了したのですが、次に
起動しようとするとタイトルにあるように
Configuring kernel parameters [OK]
の後にフリーズしてしまいます。フルインストールでもダメでした。

幸いknoppixでは起動できて、ネットにつなげることもできたので、knoppixから
メールを作っています。

によると、acpiをoffにすればうまくいくかもしれないとのことだったので、試し
たですが、ダメでした。もしくはデバイスドライバが悪さをしてるとのことだっ
たので、怪しいものとして、オプションでついていた指紋認証装置が悪さをして
るのではないかと疑っています。BIOSからこの装置を無視できないかと考えまし
たが、どうもできないようです。

grubの場合についての方法は上のサイトで示されているのですけど、liloの場合
はどうすればいいのかわかりません。aptも使えず、他のパッケージのインストー
ルもできない状態です。御教授よろしくお願いします。
