はい。それは承知しているのですが、
私のPCの場合、Vine-3.1のisoイメージを焼いてインストールした場合、
shutdown -hでは電源が切れなくて、poweroffなら電源が切れると言った事象があったので、
念のため記載しました。


一方、shutdown -r now や reboot でサーバを再起動をした場合ですが、
各種デーモンのプロセスは正常終了して、rebootのメッセージが表示されるので
すが、
その後、マシンの再起動が行われず、フリーズします。(フリーズと言うかは疑
問ですが・・・)

現状、メッセージが出た後にPCのリセットボタンを押してます(^^;...


dmesg の出力内容を提示してみて下さい。
場合によっては、解決のヒントが得られるかもしれません。

appendに、acpi=off apm=on や acpi=off apm=bios も指定してみたのですが、
shutdownで電源は切れますが、再起動は出来ませんでした。
カーネルの再構築も検討してみます。
# まぁ、再起動することも無いので、問題ないとは思うのですが・・・。
