はじめまして、今井@新横浜と申します。

このたびi845Gチップセット搭載のマシンにVineLinux2.6を
インストールいたしましたが、サウンドの設定でつまづいております。

インストール後の初回起動時には
kudzuによってi845Gチップセットは検出されたもようです。
その後、sndconfigコマンドにてオンボードのサウンドチップの設定をして
ちゃんとサンプルサウンドも再生されました。
どうやらi810_audioドライバが使用されているようですが

なぜかその後はまったく音が鳴りません。(ビープ音は出ます)

インターネットで情報を探してみましたが
こちらにあるとおり、ミキサーの設定を変えてもダメでした。

また、ALSAがもしかしたら使えるかも、的な情報も得ることができましたが
具体的な内容はわからずじまいでした。

この件について何か情報をお持ちの方がいらっしゃいましたら
教えていただけると幸いです。

ちなみにカーネルは2.4.19-0vl26を使用しております。
